Lone Peak High School - Men's Soccer

Yes, fun times! I had the greatest time taking photos at the Lone Peak High School soccer game this week. It started out a pretty nice day and I was just sitting on the grass visiting with friends and watching the game. Once I started taking pictures I couldn't stop. I think I have about a million. These are some of my favorites.

Just a couple photos of an absolutely beautiful girl! And so smart and talented also. She just recently graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Education, and now is turning her missionary papers in this week. Yay for you! Go Ashley!

The Proposal

A surprise marriage proposal for Karianne Klein at the finish line of the Salt Lake Marathon this past Saturday.  Greg Donovan is the lucky man who has won her heart.  It was quite a marathon finish for this cute gal! Wait . . . I think the race is just beginning . . .

Barton Family

I was a little worried about how the portrait session for the Barton family would turn out, I'm pretty much a natural light photographer, and usually schedule around available light. But the only day we had to work with all the Barton family members turned out to be a dreary rainy day. But with camera in hand we decided to get the best photos we could.

And if I do say so myself, I think they turned out beautiful. With a large group, including a few little ones, I'm always grateful to just get everyones attention at the same time. So I was very happy with these.

Curves - pulled center straight up a hair, bumped the saturation level a little. With portraits I like to experiment with actions from time to time. This one is entitled Lovely & Ethereal from Ree Drummond and is included in a gratis action package here.
