Roommates - BYU - Idaho

These two girls have lived across the street from each other since they were little tiny. Kelsie and Terra, great friends but so different in many ways. Terra is a lacrosse player, Kelsie likes softball. Kelsie was into sports med and medical assisting, while Terra is a great debater.

I think when they go away to college in this fall they will have all the bases covered. I'm so glad they get to be roommates. Watch out BYU - Idaho - the place will never be the same again!

New lens and new photos - Senior Photography

I'm sure Kelsie gets tired of always being my model, but she is such a GREAT one. I'm always making her stop what she's doing so I can try out a new technique or practice with a new lens as was the case today.

But she did get some really great Senior photos to send out with her graduation announcements.

I can't believe my very youngest is about to graduate from high school.

Just what does that say about me?

More Seniors '09 - Utah Senior Photography

Here is a little preview of two new seniors that I had the opportunity to photo this week - I'll finish up the rest of their photos pronto.

I met two cousins this week, and we had such a great time taking photo after photo. They were seriously so much fun, they would do almost anything I wanted them to do. They did have a little trouble with the wading in the cold water. Brrrrrr! That water was so cold, no wonder they didn't want to get their feet wet!

Lone Peak High School - when you're getting ready to go off to college there's nothing as much fun as the Prom. Beautiful dresses, the makeup, hair and nails, right down to those beautiful CONVERSE tennis shoes!

But it wouldn't be a fancy dress dance for Kelsie if she didn't wear her converse.

(okay, I'm really going to lay off the fun picnik collages for a while, but I just couldn't resist, they are too much fun!)

Now I know what everyone is raving about!

I have been on Picnik for like 15 minutes now. So far I am very impressed. I'm getting out the credit card right now for the upgrade. They have all sorts of really awesome collage templates available. I just thought I'd share my first example.

Just a little preview of what's to come ~~ I'm shooting Karianne and Greg's engagement photographs. And we're just getting started on them. I've noticed the beautiful flowering cherry trees are all in bloom this week and couldn't resist taking photos using them as a backdrop - what a ROMANTIC background!
